Kristine Aadland Here is a young woman who wanted her "snaggle teeth" fixed before her wedding in a few months. This was a fun case to close the space and blend the color in to make it look natural. I did veneers to stay as conservative as possible. #10 was an emax B1 HT block seated with clear Variolink and #11 was an A1 HT block seated with light Variolink. We mixed grey and blue stain for translucency and used white for a halo effect on the incisal. She is really excited!
There has been a lot of discussion on HT vs MT vs LT. I thought for sure that I would switch to MT as being my predominant block but I still use a lot of HT. It really depends on the patients natural teeth if they are more translucent or more opaque.
