Here is a case demonstrating the opaquing ability of Ivoclar's Multilink Hybrid Abutment Cement. In the first case the hybrid abutment crown was seated over the TiBase without any cement. Note the graying of the e.max material at the neck of the restoration due to the grey metallic TiBase showing through. This result would be the same if a transparent resin cement like Multilink or others were used. In the second case the Multilink Hybrid Abutment Cement was used. Notice how well it masked out the grey TiBase. If you are going to be restoring implants with the Sirona TiBase system and Ivoclar's implant restorative materials it is well worth the investment.
