The dreaded single central III
Had this case this afternoon and wanted to join in the posting fun. 24 year old female with previous minor trauma called last week and wanted to know if we could fix her tooth in time for her wedding next weekend. No pressure. BioCopy worked well. The block is Vita Mark 2 in BL2. She's really only B1 but the stump shade and the thinness of the veneer called for a much brighter shade of ceramic. Cemented with Variolink Veneer high value +2 resin cement. This case would have been a management nightmare with a lab. I milled out 3 blocks just to get this close. Crushed her papilla with a Cerasaw. Yes, same day photography.Â
Damn Bob that is sweeeeet! Great contours and shade! This case is a wonderful example of how to minimally prep anterior teeth for Cerec.
Thanks for sharing,

Nice job Bob. Â You must just ignore the minimal thickness violation "dreaded blue show through" during the design phase. Â It looks like it is 0.5 thick at most in the gingival third. Â Would love to see the screen shot of the design. Â

Aaron the screenshot is above. I was super thin, but no different than if sending to a lab. With bonded anteriors in a non-bruxer the minimal thickness warning is turned off for me. I see so many dentists in trainings freak out over that blue bubble, but they have no idea what the parameter is even set at.Â
