Cerec Ortho scan ----- Night guard

So I got myself scanned by my wife's assistant and created a night guard out of nextdent's ortho clear.  Took 39 mins to print on the moonray S.  Working on profiles for form 2 when I get more resin in.  Fit was perfect.

This is awesome. I just got the Form 2 in July and I want to start printing these as well. What software do you use to generate the splint after you capture the models in Cerec Ortho?

Exocad was used to design the splint. I imported the stl files from cerec ortho and they are already lined up in exocad in relation to each other. Then designed the splint from there.  Export and then print on  your favorite printer!

Made one for the wife as well in clear instead of the blue.

That's very cool.

Is exocad an expensive program?
Difficult to learn?
Would you need to keep buying new versions of exocad (as per Cerec software) or are upgrades free?
Have you tried doing the same with inLab?

Exocad is an expensive program. 5k for the main program and 750 per module.  I think inlab 16 will do splints as well.

Mike, how do you export the data from chairside ortho to inLab Splint? I've tried every which way I can think of (except for Sirona connect) and I cannot get an ortho scan to open in inLab. Do I need the ortho module on the inLab side of things?
